At 5:01PM coaches from all over the country flooded in to see some of the best players in the country battle here at Summer Hoops Festival Live in Apopka. Below is a look at the Top Performers from Wednesdays action.

Anthony Edwards (6’5/SG/2020) Atlanta Express

  • Edwards is an electric scorer, went from chill in the first half to kill mode in the second half real quick. Has the disposition to dominate, smooth but explosive with the ball in his hands.. He would be a lottery pick in next years draft, not gas.. He’s the real deal

Lance Terry (6’2/PG/2019)

  • Crafty guard with great length and size for a D1 Point Guard.. Did a little bit of everything, plays smooth and under control.. Was surprised to see he has no offers, will definitely change soon

Chase Hunter (6’3/PG/2019)

  • Skilled playmaker, showed the ability to score from all 3 levels.. Great size and length for his position, stretched the floor well and knocked down the 3 ball with consistency.. Expect his stock to rise these next two weeks, slept on for sure

CJ Walker (6’7/CF/2019)

  • Has continued to prove he’s one of the best players in the country.. Stepped up and led E1T1 to a big come from behind win over Team Loaded VA.. Stock will continue to rise as he grows more comfortable and confident on the wing

Isaiah Turner (6’9/W/2019) Team Breakdown

  • Played to his potential in the last game set, looked great as a point forward.. Scored from all 3 levels, showed he has the Court vision to be a facilitator at the next level.. As he fills out and adds strength to his lanky frame Coaches are going to wake up to how good this young man is going to be!!

Jamal Mashburn (6’2/PG/2020) Team Breakdown

  • Shot the lights out, from everywhere.. Looked patient out of the pick and roll, forced the defense to make a decision.. Executed well, Elite scorer

Wesley Cardet (6’5/G/2021) Team Breakdown

  • Looks better every I see him.. Sky’s the limit with his potential, has the ability to play a number of different positions on offense and defense.. Really impressed with the way he rebounds with kids older and bigger than he is.

Kai Jones (6’10/F/2019) Team Breakdown

  • His shooting mechanics have improved, looks smooth.. Showed the ability to score from the mid-post.. Has the potential to be a high major wing.

Marcus Niblack (6’2/PG/2020) E1T1

  • First time seeing him play and I was immediately impressed, smooth with the ball and bouncy at the rim.. Showed he can create his own shot, has the ability to knock it down from deep.

Jaelyn Withers (6’7/W/2019) Team Loaded NC

  • A physical presence on the floor, has all the physical tools to be a high major player.. Rebounds well, can defend multiple positions and play in the wing or the post on offense

James Franklin Jr. (6’4/SG/2019) Team Loaded NC

  • Electric shooting guard who scores in bunches.. Showed he can score from all 3 levels, doesn’t need any time or space to get his jumper off.

Earl Timberlake (6’6/SG/2020) Team Loaded VA

  • Big time player, can do a little bit of everything.. Great physical tools, gets in the paint with ease and facilitates for his teammates.. Has the ability to stretch the floor and knock down the three ball as well.

Michael Christmas (6’6/W/2019) Team Loaded VA

  • Had a great game for Team Loaded, strong wing with a smooth jumper.. Uses his size and strength to bully his way into the paint.. Active on the boards and capable of guarding multiple positions on defense

Isaiah Kirby (6’3/CG/2019) Team Speights

  • Had a really impressive performance against Team Breakdown.. Ran the show, created easy opportunities and his teammates.. And when they weren’t he created whatever he wanted for himself.. Shoots it with deep range, nice pull up game.. and super crafty with the ball.. Stock is definitely going to rise this week!!

Omar Payne (6’10/F/2019) CP25

  • Owned the paint on both ends of the floor, his length and athleticism are really difficult for opponents to deal with..  Coach Ricks was able to get his team some easy baskets when they needed one by setting an alley oop play for Omar..

Tyrell Jones (6’2/PG/2019) Showtime Ballers

  • Shooting the lights out seems to be a regular day in the office for the Showtime Ballers Star.. Averaged 27ppg, was lethal out of the pick and roll and did a great job running the show, getting his teammates involved.
