Antwann Jones, the explosive 6’6, four-star shooting guard from Olrando, FL, has ended his recruitment and has committed to Oklahoma State University.  Antwann had an incredible summer playing for E1T1 (Each One Teach One) one of the top Nike programs in the country and finally committed to Oklahoma State University over the weekend.  Jones averaged 10.9 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 2.5 apg, and 1spg  in 22 games on arguably the most prestigious shoe circuit in the world. Jones is currently ranked the number 45th player in the 2018 class by ESPN and is preparing to climb up the rankings his senior year. 

Antwann who primarily fits the role of a shooting guard also has the ability to play out on the wing where he is just as affective offensively as he is defensively.  Jones plans on finishing his senior year at Oak Ridge High School where he dominated at the high school level last year, leading his team to a 22-5 season.  His long-wide frame gives him the ability to play multiple positions effectively.  His strength, athleticism and explosiveness gives him the upper hand when taking his defender to the rim where he often finishes at ease, even through contact. 

Jones can score from all three levels of the court and his upside is through the roof.  The guard has good feel for the game and has a knack to put the ball in the basket.  Antwann still has room to improve his shot, but can still knock down jump shots and the three ball consistently when the team needs him to make big plays.

Antwann Jones held offers from TCU, Texas A&M, Wake Forest, Rutgers, South Carolina, South Florida, and Memphis, while also receiving heavy interest from several more high-major programs.  Jones visited the Oklahoma State campus last weekend where he decided the Big X11 program was the perfect fit for him.  First year Head Coach Mike Boynton has been doing a great job and locked in a big-time commitment from a highly-touted 2018 prospect out of Florida.  Expect big things from one of the best 2018 guards in the country.
