Malik Hardy, the combo guard who had a great senior season at Pines Charter HS continued his success throughout the first two NCAA Live periods, averaging 15 ppg, 7 rpg, and 4 apg this past weekend with an injured wrist at the Nike Midwest Takeover, in Indianapolis, IN.  Hardy who has been playing with the Nike South Beach 17U Sr. team proved himself this past weekend, playing through injury while demonstrating the ability to play tough defense against both guard positions.  Although he played through injury, Malik was still able to get to the rim at ease and finish through contact and made smart passes to teammates when depended on.

Hardy is a strong guard with an above average I.Q. who has the ability to score in bunches from all three levels of the court.  Malik who averaged 27 ppg, 7 rpg, and 4 apg, his last year at Pines Charter and was awarded Second Team All-Broward while averaging First Team numbers in a competitive basketball county.  The guard was selected to play in the 23rd annual TOC Dade vs Broward Game and the Second annual HoopMIA All-Star Game. Although Hardy was recruited by several Division 1 JUCO's, and visited a few, the guard is set to sign with D2 Nova Southeastern University which is a great fit for the combo guard out of Broward county. Hardy could potentially be a steal for the program; look for Malik Hardy to impress at the next level.
