Lineage of Champions hosted the Peach State Select 24 in Augusta, Georgia this past weekend, The tournament streamed every game and was viewed by college coaches throughout the country. The Miami Rebels and Miami Suns participated in the event giving us a chance to see some of Miami’s top players for the first time in several months. These were some of the standout performers. 

Class of 2021

Ga’Khari Lacount, 6’1 PG, Link Year Prep

Lacount, who had a monster season for Coral Park, is headed to Link Year Prep in Missouri for a prep year. He had multiple 30 point games for the Rebels throughout the weekend. He is a high level shot maker and just simply continues to improve. He is receiving interest from UTSA, Idaho, Samford, Purdue Fort Wayne, James Madison, Georgia State, and Marist. Look for his stock to continue to soar when he suits up for a National program like Link Year. 

Malik Siggers, 5’10 PG, Miami Norland

The tough hard nosed ball handler was great for the Suns throughout the weekend. He recently received an offer from Albany State in Georgia. Siggers is a good lead guard that plays with great poise and is a capable scorer. He will lead a talented Norland group this year and they seemed poised for a very successful campaign. 

Christian Pujals, 6’2 SG, South Miami

Pujals was a knockdown shooter for the Rebels all weekend. He is a crafty scorer that finds a way to get baskets. He is a smart player that is always working to get himself open. His stock will improve if he is able to fill out his frame and add strength. Look for him to have a big year for the Cobras, who lost a lot of last year’s scoring to graduation. 

Emilio Ramirez, 6’1 PG, Immaculata LaSalle

Ramirez is a talented scorer whose play improved throughout the weekend. He is a very skilled ball handler and finisher. He shot the ball better as the weekend went on for the Rebels. He had a big year at Immaculata-LaSalle last season and is a very underrated prospect. 

Jordan Johnson, 6’3 CG, University School

Johnson, who recently transferred to University School from Fort Lauderdale, was a standout for the Suns all weekend. He was one of the team’s leading scorers. He is a talented slasher and scorer that can fill up a box score. He is an intriguing prospect that could have a big year for a young Sharks squad. 

David Pazo, 6’3 SG, Miami Coral Park

Pazo played with great energy for the Rebels throughout the weekend. He played very well defensively and seems to have improved his on ball defense. He is a knockdown shooter and was very efficient on offense throughout the tournament. He displayed improved decision making and ball handling.  

Jaylin Bain, 5’11 PG, Fort Lauderdale

Bain plays with great pace and speed. He was effective for the Suns all tournament. He is headed into a big senior season and is a player that has really developed and improved throughout his career. He is a definite college prospect that will be counting on his final campaign to determine what level he can play at. 

Adrian Salcedo, 6’4 SG, Miami Coral Park

Salcedo is a talented perimeter prospect that flashes signs of the player he can be. He really shined in the later part of the tournament with his shooting and passing. He plays very intelligently and has great range on his jump shot. He has the ability to have a big senior season. 

Class of 2022

Lionel Swaby, 6’7 F, Miami Norland

Swaby is a developing interior prospect that has a lot of room to improve. He is a solid rebounder and good shot blocker. He was a defensive presence all weekend for the Suns. If he can develop offensively he has a chance to be a really solid prospect. He is a young player with a bright future.

Class of 2023

Carl Parrish III, 6’0 G, Miami Norland

Parrish has the chance to develop into an extremely productive high school guard. He is a knockdown shooter that can fill it up in a hurry. He is a hard nosed defender and is working into developing into a lead guard. He drew a lot of attention with his play in 17u for the Suns.

Class of 2024

Marcus Allen, 6’6 CG, Miami Norland

Allen is one of the best young prospects in South Florida. He possesses an impressive blend of size and skill for a player his age. He is extremely talented and was very impressive playing up in 17u for the Suns. He is a huge addition for Miami Norland and projects as a prospect that should have a phenomenal high school career.
